Geotextile Materials.
Not Waste is in the process of securing a contract of supply with Aquatic Engineering Isle of Wight who have new and used geotextile material as a by product.
This material can and does end up in landfill so we are proud to be able to claim we will be diverting tons of plastic to the reuse market.
Where’s It Going?
Using some of this material Not Waste aims to implement a local plan of action on invasive species within the community. It will be used as a weed suppressant in areas with high public footfall, as a single but managed application, rather than the continued applications of the questionable Glyphosate weed killer which is used at present.
Alternatively this material will be sold to generate revenue for Not Waste to progress further on their environmental path to saving the planet…….and if there’s enough material left…..some will be given to community groups and projects, when and where required.
