There are lots of benefits to becoming a volunteer with Not Waste. You can learn new skills, improve your CV, build your confidence and make new friends and there are various different opportunities for you to get involved in.

Volunteers are the life blood of every community.

You can volunteer anything from a few hours to days a week and we would really value any contribution you make. Your time and skills could be just what we need.

We want you to enjoy volunteering and there are lots of ways to get involved. Whatever role you choose, you’ll be making a real difference to your community.

 

EDUCATORS AND STUDENTS – Come and learn about biochar and a carbon negative economy.

We are limited by site availability but welcome educational groups and individuals wanting to learn how we carbon capture and store a portion of the communities carbon footprint through the production and use of biochar.

We understand how difficult it is to find consistent and suitable work within the community for certain groups and individuals.

We pride ourselves in being an all inclusive project and would invite enquiries from anyone or group who may wish to discuss work placements of any nature.
