Springrove – The Start

Rob’s been busy at Springrove clearing brambles and generally having a good look at what we have to work with.

The area in front of the shed is where we hope to site three 14′ x 25′ polytunnels with soft fruit growing on the mud bank at the rear. Two of the polytunnels will be used to grow on plant plugs for planters, hanging baskets and other horticultural projects. One will also be used to grow on gourmet mushrooms.

At the end of the mud wall you can see through to the orchard area.

The plan is to dig out this area to establish a pond for both water supply and ecological benefits.
