Welcome to Springrove, our first official site.
We’ve just signed a lease on a peppercorn rent and can’t wait to get going. Lots of ideas being worked on but our primary aims are
- Polytunnels for horticulture and mushroom production.
- Sunken polytunnel with aquaponics for all year round production.
- Orchard area and boundaries used for fruit and mushroom beds and logs.
- Composting and biochar/charcoal production.
- We aim to pilot a community garden resource collection service similar to TDBC but WE will be using some of the resources to produce biochar, sequestering some of the communities carbon footprint and creating a community carbon store at Springrove.
A starting point to so much more. This is where it all begins.
Plans are already on the board for a closed loop, circular economy, animal bedding business unique to the industry……and then we’ll really be making progress.
